Week 3 of Quitting Sugar: My Journey So Far
As I complete the third week of my journey to quit sugar, I find myself reflecting on the small yet significant changes I’ve noticed in my body and mind. What started as a challenging shift in my lifestyle is slowly transforming into a rewarding experience, one step at a time.
Visible Progress
One of the most noticeable changes is the reduction in my waist size. I didn’t expect such a visible result so soon, but it’s a motivating sign that my efforts are paying off. What excites me more is the real feeling of hunger I’ve started experiencing. It’s different—pure and unclouded by sugar-induced cravings.
In the past, I would often feel the need to snack on something sweet after meals, like a few nuts or dates, just to satisfy those lingering sugar cravings. But now, I’ve reached a point where that compulsion is gone. It’s a liberating feeling to enjoy a meal and not crave dessert or tea afterward.
Overcoming Challenges
The beginning wasn’t easy. I vividly remember the strong headaches that hit me the day after I decided to skip my regular milk tea. It was my body’s way of protesting the sudden change, and honestly, it was tough to push through. But I reminded myself why I started this journey.
